Woodlands centred around the transformation of an enclosed kitchen that no longer suited the way the homeowners wanted to live. The existing layout felt disconnected from the surrounding living spaces and limited the functionality of the home.

By removing walls and reconfiguring the floor plan, the kitchen and dining areas were brought together to create a more open and practical living space. Custom joinery, a generous island, and carefully considered storage were incorporated to improve both everyday usability and the overall flow of the home.

While the footprint remained largely unchanged, the impact of the renovation was significant. The result is a kitchen that feels more spacious, more functional, and better connected to the way the home is used every day.
